We see many of the existing aluminum smelters or alumina refineries trying to elevate the level of the performance of their facilities to keep their competitiveness.

• By upgrading its busbar and pot lining, we have upgraded the pots of Qingtongxia smelter owned by State Power Investment Corporation to increase amperage to 375kA and decrease power consumption by 8%;
• By upgrading its busbar and pot lining, we have upgraded Indonesian’s only smelter’s 40-year old pots (original design was 170kA) to increase amperage to 235kA and to decrease power consumption by more than 10%.
